Squall suggested this and I think it's a great idea. Basically it was to get a group of eight people, equal to the amount of people in your classic ff party. All of us should be either neutral or good. Together we will take on various hunts and missions to make the distorted world a better place. Anyone in? Also we can expand this into IC plots and stuff when the site gets bigger. founding members - beatrix; off-tank

I'd be interested in signing up for this with Sephiroth, but depending on the group's final members and individual skillsets, I might swap him out for Minwu once he's done. Depends on what the team needs/lacks at that point.

Ngl I think Minwu's white magic would be better for the group because we have no dedicated healer. But do what you want.
Also if everyone could mention what general role they can fill that would be gravy. That way we can keep track of our skillsets and stuff.

Hope's more of a jack-of-all than anything, though right now as a plot point he can't use magic. Once he gets that back though he'll have black and white magic and buffs on top of a few tank-ish abilities (right now he's got Area Barrier, that one ability that turns everyone into a tank) and some helpful physical offense. But yeah. atm he's kind of a meat shield but he'll probably turn back into a not-as-squishy wizard.

also he'll be the potions genie like Larsa was in XII. YOU GET AN X-POTION AND YOU GET AN X-POTION

okay, because i'm a little ocd and i love lists, here's a list of participants right now.

- squall leonhart
- oerba yun fang

now, as for noel's skill sets. i'm thinking of developing him as a offensive fighter, but more as a well-rounded kind of guy. when i get his battle statistics done, he'll probably major in physical attacks and white magic. later on i may throw in taunt (defensive) and counter (defensive). a few basic black magic spells (focus on ice elemental and air elemental), possibly some buffs later, but as of right now noel is focusing on offensive attacks and white magic. and one blizzard plz.

Sephiroth: Current build can be described as a physical, melee assassin. Does best against single, high-tier mobs, rather than many weaker ones. Purely offensive skills at this time, with a possibility of picking up key defensive and Time spells to bolster efficiency.
Minwu: Stereotypical "white mage"; purely focused on healing spells, with room to expand into supportive Green and Time magic in the future. No offensive techniques/spells planned for him at all, so I'd be counting on others to provide the firepower.

I'm gonna throw in everyone's general roles. Beatrix is meant to be a versatile off-tank. No matter what she is gonna be bulky, but she can also fill different roles as needed..
Hope, I'm gonna call you Oprah from now on.
On a completely different note, how do you guys feel about having like four founding members? They could be in charge of leading the group IC. OC they would be organizing plots and gathering peps for hunts. Also we could do a bunch of introduction threads to get the party acquainted with each other and stuff. |
