CHARACTER NAMEZhou Wei Long
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONThe former Emperor stands at a height of 6'1. His build lean and lithe suited for speed instead of brute force. His features are more on the feminine side, yet show obvious masculine qualities, such as his face, chest and shoulders. His skin is fair, with no scars or bruises to speak of, a great contrast to his earlier youth. His hair is a pure white, reaching well past his shoulders to the middle of his back, with the bangs framing his face. Covering his body is loose clothing the color black. A black tunic covers his chest with the front open partially in a v-neck to show the odd red tattoo that nearly covers his whole chest.
On his legs are matching black pants the color black, with a red sash covering his middle. On his feet are odd black boots with no sole and wrappings on his wrists and ankles. Despite his normal appearance he holds some abnormal qualities. Starting behind his ears lie a single crimson red horn that curves in slightly. His gold eyes' pupils are serpentine in nature, and his nails are sharp and claw-like, lastly his ears are pointed appearing something similar to an elf of some sort.
CHARACTER PERSONALITYZhou comes off as a quiet yet shrewd man. His outward visage that worthy of royalty. Always appearing calm and collected, not giving a hint of what he's feeling or thinking at anytime. Feelings that were drilled into him to ignore. He is what you would call a 'perfect noble' calm, quiet, a bit snotty, and stuffy. Only desiring the best of the best from everyone and everything. Failure is not an option. Despite his otherwise intimidating attitude, beneath his hard cold exterior is caring man who loves all his subjects.
One who is prideful and arrogant yet keeps himself grounded in the presence of fair maidens and children. He is surprisingly chivalrous, bringing it upon himself to protect the weak and helpless without needing a reason or a form of pay. To him in his long life, he believes that all beings mortal or no- deserve a life worth living.
And even though he can be heartless and cruel towards his enemies, striking them down without a thought- he still respects them as warriors and hates having to take away a life in another pointless war. To some his methods and beliefs can be a bit extreme, but he's a good man at heart doing what he sees necessary to protect many others. A few for a thousand he would say. In the end he's a cold and seemingly uncaring person on the surface, but is a caring and understanding man underneath it all.
CHARACTER HISTORYThe nameless boy who would one day be known as king, began his life with unknown origins. No one not even he knew where he had came from, found laying within the snow, stark naked at the outskirts of a small humble farming village. The people were flabbergasted upon the odd child's appearance, hair as white as the snow that surrounded him.
Not wishing to see such a young child die, they quickly huddled him into the clinic awaiting for the strange child to awaken. When he did awaken however the odd boy had no collection of who he was or where he was from. He had no past, nothing to remember, nothing but a flash of bright white light and then nothing. The villagers were as confused as he was, and decided as a whole after some time to let the boy live here, IF he and only if he pulled his weight around.
Thus the young boy began helping the village as soon as he was fit to work. Winter melted into spring and the young boy affectionately named "Yuki" continued himself in the village's service, for thanks for saving him from what would of been his early demise. The seasons changed and the years went by, and nothing seemed to change in the days he lived in the small mountain village.
Until...
They arrived. The kingdom's military. The people were stumped at why the royal army was at their small abode? They had nothing at value to them emperor why would he suddenly send his guards here? They quickly learnt why... The boy- they demanded the young boy they called Yuki, saying he was a dangerous creature that must be contained.
The villagers wouldn't go without a fight demanding they leave, and that what they were saying was nonsense- however the general would have none of that. Declaring that the villagers were "traitors" for disobeying the king's orders. And without a second thought he ordered his men to slaughter the villagers. The young teen watched helplessly as the men began slaughtering the only family he ever knew, being held back and pulled away to be arrested. Watching as the people were brutally murdered in front of his eyes...
Something inside him snapped.
With a savage roar, inhuman and abnormal a bright light surround his body and in it's place stood a hulking creature thought to be extinct in his world... A dragon. The transformed Yuki thrashed and flailed tearing up the small army until only the general remained. With his energy spent the dragon transformed back to his human form, once again human and naked. The general realized that the boy was dangerous, but didn't want to go against his majesty's orders and called for reinforcements to bring the boy back to the capital.
Day's later, the boy awoken finding himself chained to a wall he stared at the general who slaughtered family. The man stepped out of the way as a new man came into the light- he was the emperor. The man thanked the general for his capture of the boy, and then turned to Yuki- telling him words he didn't a want to believe...
"You are Zhou Wei Long... welcome home my son"
The next few months were a blur to him, he felt lost and confused he had no direction in his life. He felt this all should just be one horrible nightmare he would wake up from. But to no avail... this wasn't a dream- it was reality. He continued lost until one day he met her... she was small thing, simple yet very pretty. Her name was Ming, and she was his caretaker. At first like everyone else he met, he thought she had some sort of motive or was working on the orders of the emperor, but as time went on he found out that she indeed cared for him.
They became friends and Zhou even began forming a crush on her- though it was one sided. The second person he met in his life that he could truly trust in the palace was a man. His name was Han. He was a built man, strong, and courageous, fierce yet protective. He was an honorable man, one that Zhou could believe in unlike the general... The man would be his mentor, training him in the art of sword and magic- something the youth took quickly to.
Years went by the young teen found himself growing into adulthood, for years he was training both his body, mind, and spirit so that one day he would gain what he felt would change the land. His "father" was a cruel man, hung on the belief that 'might meant right', that the weak died and the strong lived. But Zhou didn't believe in such things something that he argued with the elder man constantly but was ignored.
Over the years he learned what gave his father this mindset, he, his mother, and Zhou were a nearly extinct race of beings who could transform into dragons- the Drakai. But the man was no 'father' to him, in fact the only reason the man kept the young Drakai around was because he, his mother, and Zhou himself were the last of their kind even if they were not related by blood.
To the emperor he believed they were superior due to their near immortal blood. Which in Zhou's mind was incorrect, thus at the age of twenty the young prince fought his father in a official fight for the throne. He could no longer sit there and wait as things only got worse for the people under his father's malicious rule. Thus the two fought in mortal combat and after several tricks and deceit his father gained the upper hand. However Zhou refused to give up and with a retaliating slash of his blade rending the man across the chest.
The man gasped for air refusing to die, yelling for the others to save him, but no one would. Zhou stood and walked to his weak and cowardly father gold eyes shining with indifference. "They won't save you." He declared. "They now recognize me as the true emperor. Your time is over 'father'." And with one final swing of his Dao blades he sliced the man's head off effectively ending his life. His 'mother' had quickly taken ill and died a few short years later. Despite her husband being a cruel man she loved him dearly and was distraught at his death, slowly withering away from a broken heart until her death.
Years later the young emperor continued to watch over his land, even as time wore away at his people and his land. It was after Ming had died of of age did he have enough, wanting nothing more to do with his dying kingdom, feeling unworthy he sealed himself within his ancestor's tomb awaiting the day that he would be needed, not as a king but as a protector of his world- knowing that one day the last of the Drakai would be needed... Though he had his doubts, he would be sure he would be stronger in mind and spirit by then.
One hundred years later and he had awoken from his sealed state, coming upon the world as his once grand kingdom laid in ruins. And found himself in the Distorted World, his own world lost, and himself a king without a kingdom...
The question now was... what next?

"Hello there. You've just arrived in the Distorted World. Why don't you tell me your name, and the first thought going through your head right now?"
-He nods curtly in recognition to the interviewer- "Zhou Wei Long, the former IV Dragon Emperor of the Long dynasty. Pleasure."
"That's certainly interesting... forgive me if I don't know what to say to that. So tell me, where are you from?"
"I hail from Tiantang, to my people it means Paradise, but it was far from as such... "
"Can't say I've ever heard of it. Well, tell me about yourself. What do you do? What are some of your likes and dislikes?"
"There is not much to say about me surprisingly. I am a former emperor, I specialize in the sword and the arcane. As for my likes and dislikes..." -goes quiet for a moment- "I have a fair love for Oolong tea, the winter months, and fresh snow. I have a dislike for the corrupt, being the last of my kind, and failing those I love."
"Ah, that's amazing! And not only do we have some things in common, you're quite the looker, too, aren't you?"
-smirks amused- "You are not the first to say that to me, however they compliment me in a less...crude manner."
"There's no need to be shy. They always say, if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Anyway, enough about that. Who are you allied with?"
"Currently I believe I side with no one, and since my world is gone as of late I will consider myself a survivor."
"I'm sure you have your reasons... Oh, on another note, how tall are you?"-tilts his curiously- "six-one, why do you wish to know?"
"Drat! Just four inches too tall. Although... hmm, would you mind if I asked you on a date? Don't worry, I'll buy."-chuckles- "That is still quiet a feat for a woman, at least the humans in my land." -smirks at the question of a date- "I apologize but now is not the best time for me to date. Though along the line I wouldn't mind meeting such a fair beauty such as you mi'lady."
"Finding a venue might be a bit difficult, anyway, since I have no idea where we are... tell me where this is, again?""Alexandria I believe it's called."
"Ah, how could I forget? I'd love to vacation here someday, when it's not so foggy... It's scenic, you know?""Yes this 'Alexandria' is quite lovely this time of the day."
"Well, thank you for the lovely conversation! I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving you, though, since I'm going to explode in about three seconds anyway. Buh-bye now!"-quirks eyebrow as the woman explodes before standing up and walking out...-

RP SAMPLE...How long has it been? Gold eyes scanned the small dusty pub as he made his way to a nearby seat. Nothing like his throne back in his kingdom, and hardly a worthy seat for someone of his prestige, but beggars can't be choosers he supposed. "A hundred years" This got the dragon man's attention. "A hundred year's since the Long Dynasty fell, tis a shame. I heard it was a paradise."
Zhou gave a snort, paradise? Maybe it was before his father's rule, and when he himself ruled it- but during the fourth emperor's rule it was a hell. Ordering a bottle of an amber liquid, the young man poured it into a saucer idly listening to the going on's of the patrons. He's heard a lot of the current ruler of his lands, they were tyrants in every sense of the word- they had quickly destroyed everything he helped build nearly over night.
The people were suffering and yet, he could do nothing. The rage and feeling of helplessness boiled in his draconian blood as he seethed. This could not go on! He would not let these monsters continue to treat HIS people so poorly! Taking one last swig of his drink he quickly said his goodbyes and departed.
He would gain back his kingdom he had abandoned once before, and bring it back to prosperity like a good king should. But of course.. war could not be fought by one man... He would need allies... He gazed to the starry night skies as he smirked. "And what not better than those who are the best of the best?"
