Accessing datanet files... IDENTIFIED BIOFORMS
Sifting through myths and legends of the newly combined worlds, we have been able to form some estimates of monster types located in the vicinity. We hope to one day be able to confirm the existence of and categorize the unidentified and unconfirmed bioforms in our databanks. Research missions have been released to investigate these monsters for the best way to subdue or avoid them.

Accessing datanet files... ULTROS
Bioform refers to self as "Ultros". While a monster and dangerous, it is noted that Ultros is intelligent enough to speak and form plans of its own, and it seems to enjoy harassing people. Ultros likes to flee when he notices he's going to lose a fight, and as such we have been unable to properly study the creature save from data brought back by travelers meeting it. Threat level: Moderate

Accessing datanet files... GILGAMESH
An odd humanoid creature with multiple arms, Gilgamesh claims to be a great swordsman hunting for a legendary sword. Judging by accounts of others, there are either multiple entities named Gilgamesh or he has been alive for an astounding length of time. On occasion one of the many Gilgamesh will challenge swordsmen to duels, though whether to the death or not is unknown. We aren't sure what kind of creature Gilgamesh may be, but he seems to pose no immediate harm to anyone, and in fact seems oblivious to the fact that the world has suddenly and rapidly changed. Threat level: Expected low, may prove higher than expected.

Accessing datanet files... TONBERRY
Strange, small reptilian creatures that are known to live in deep caves. Tonberry are rare to meet, and most adventurers we have been able to contact actively avoid altercations with the docile looking creatures. From what we gather, Tonberry move very slowly, but have immensely powerful magical and physical attacks. We have been unable to recover a specimen to investigate more thoroughly however. Threat level: High

Accessing datanet files... JENOVA <Error: No image data available>
From data gathered, the Jenova creature is an alien that existed in another part of the world, though which we cannot be sure. Data suggests it has the ability to take on a multitude of forms and to regenerate from mere cells. Its combat abilities are currently unknown, but it is believed to have led to the extinction of a sect of humans known as 'Cetra' some time in the past. Threat level: Very high

Accessing datanet files... OMEGA
An ancient war mech more advanced than anything we've seen before. With our satellites, we are able to pinpoint a general area the machine may be in. Several old texts of various areas reference the machine, dubbed 'Omega', as an ancient device made to destroy an unspecified target. As the legends suggest, the energy readings for the mechanoid are immense; power output levels rival that of our entire city. We have sent several scouting parties to investigate the machine's whereabouts, but have lost contact with all groups within seconds of supposed sightings. Threat level: WARNING, ENGAGE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Accessing datanet files... ULTIMATE WEAPON
Alongside rumors of the mechanoid Omega, there are legends that also refer to something called Ultimate Weapon. Reports indicate it to be a living beast similar to, but much larger and more powerful than, a Behemoth. Some of these stories state it was Omega's prototype, others that it was Omega's opposition. Whatever the case, the bioform has made no appearance as of yet that we know of. After the Omega mishaps, scouting parties will not be sent to search for the beast. Threat level: Unknown, engage at your own risk.

Accessing datanet files... CHOCOBO
Chocobos are familiar avian steeds used by, or at least well known in, most of the societies we've been able to contact. Like on Cocoon, most people (Especially children) love Chocobos, and their peaceful and carefree demeanor only helps. There are plenty of people who make a living riding full-grown Chocobos, and the fuzzy Chocobo chicks are popular as pets at least until they grow to their full massive size. As it turns out, there are more kinds of Chocobo than merely Cocoon and Pulse variants; they come in a variety of different colors that denotes different subspecies and strengths. For example, Red Chocobo can climb mountains with ease, and White Chocobo can fly freely. It isn't advised to attack one of these gentle giants, as they'd much rather flee than have to fight against anything. Threat level: Minimal if unprovoked.

Accessing datanet files... MOOGLES
It seems we made our records too soon when we noted that Moogles were merely the stuff of stories. The revelation that we were wrong came in the form of a letter delivered by one of the diminutive creatures politely asking us not to say they don't exist, "Kupo". Since then, we've recorded several different subraces of Moogles of varying size and shape, but in general they sport batlike wings and a bright red pom pom on a thin antenna on their head. They tend to be humanoid in general, to varying degrees depending on the kind of Moogle.
The species seems to have adapted well to the Distorted World. We learned that they have a mail system called the Mognet they use to send letters between both human and Moogle settlements across the world. They are also more than happy to sell goods to the towns they visit, though how they carry so much stock and where they get it is anyone's guess. From what we can tell, a lot of Moogles are more than happy to sell the things they find for Gil, though what use they have for it is unknown. They have a verbal tic of saying the word 'Kupo', and sometimes that's the only word some of them are capable of saying. They tend to be harmless, but provoking them probably isn't wise judging by the public loving of the small creatures. Threat level: Minimal if unprovoked.
