Unnatural black and red clouds swirled above the Isle of Lost Dreams. Many rows of tents and pavilions were set up throughout the island, shaking in the wind and seemingly abandoned, the lanterns unlit and only the howling of the wind accompanying the appearance of a black portal. From it dropped a humanoid in blue, standing fairly short. He wore a light armor, boots gauntlets chestpiece and helmet all in a cobalt blue with lighter highlights. A red crystal was set in to the forehead of the armor, matching a smaller one on his chest; the unarmored parts of his body were covered with a black material that seemed to hug his body. His eyes opened, a deep red color as he flexed his hands, seeming to be unused to the method of transport.
The portal closed, and the howling wind ceased abruptly with it. As if his arrival had been the start of something, the lanterns across the festive environment were lit and people seemed to spring out of the aether to mingle. The man in blue smiled, his right arm turning to blinding energy for a second before forming in to a cannon, a bolt of bright blue energy ripping apart several of the nearby tents with a blast and seeming to kill quite a few people. The man smiled darkly before speaking up.
"People of the Distorted World, enjoy what time you have left. Calamity will tear apart time and space, and she has no concern for any of you surviving in the new world. You have a chance now; join her and live or oppose her and be destroyed. I don't care which you chose, but this is the only chance she will give," the figure announced, his voice carrying far louder and farther than it should have been able to. His dark grin widened a bit at the looks of fear and shock caused as more portals appeared behind him, monsters of varying kinds emerging, some mechanical others piglike and more in a wide variety, most unfamiliar.
"You have thirty seconds to make up your minds before your 'festival' is burned to the ground! What'll it be, humans?"

As soon as the isle came into existence or very near it, Rayde had embarked on a journey to reach said Isle of Lost Dreams. It was easy to reach the isle from Besaid, the distortion not interfering with anyone heading towards it. With just a small boat, the swordsman had been able to cross the sea and land safely at the harbor. The voyage was uninteresting for the most part, except for the fact the distorted fog didn't hinder him in the slightest. Usually airships or special amulets were required to trek through it but this isle must emanate some kind of magical energy that protected any travelers heading that way. It was the island itself that peaked his interest and he wanted to study it as much as he could.
All was quiet as the black coated man walked up the pier. There was nobody around as far as he could see. It looked like people lived there but not a soul was anywhere. He wondered if they feared newcomers and hid away to avoid confrontation. That's all that fit, nothing else could explain it. The man, Rayde as he called himself, continued his trek, going further inland. He moved slowly, looking all around at the environment and everything in it. He looked at it all now, to absorb all the knowledge so he could recall it later. It wasn't until the unnatural started to happen that he stopped, eyebrows drawing down at he focused up above. Something bad was definitely going to happen.
His assessment was true, something bad did happen. Around the center of the pavilions, a black portal appeared and it spit forth a figure in blue armor. Rayde hid himself among the tents, watching and waiting. As soon as the figure, presumably male, life sprung up around him. He was momentarily jolted, thrown off guard and he turned his back on the armored man, instead choosing to analyze the people that had appeared from nowhere. The following initial massacre got his attention and he spun around, drawing his katana. Rayde had assumed it was meant for him but he was wrong, that man had slayed innocent people and all for Calamity's sake, whoever she was.
"Damn..." The unknown person had displayed actions similar to Eroas and that set Rayde on edge. Villains were all alike.
Sheathing his sword, he calmed himself and straightened his coat before striding out to take a casual stance a few meters from the strange, foreign man. With some kind of magic, he was able to turn his hand into a cannon of sorts, very strange but interesting despite the evil act the person had committed. Rayde had all but dismissed the army of monsters amassing behind the blue man, only just. His mind recorded it and he would come to a solutions or those later. For now, his target was the man that just killed dozens of people.
"I normally don't jump the gun on situations like this but someone must protect these people. I, Rayde Valehart, shall stand against Calamity and her cause. I'm sure more will join me. So a word of advice, leave here before I make you atone for the sin you have just committed." Cocky, he had a lot of stones confronting this mysterious man who had an army and he himself, had no one...yet.

The Festival had been a merry event, but nothing happened as Ars expected. He had observed many such things in Her realm, while observing this world's denizens, but experiencing it first-hand was more exciting. He took part in many of the games and often times he and others made complete fools of themselves; but they all just laughed it off. It wasn't a time where things were of maximum import; it was a time to relax and enjoy oneself. And that he did well. It was full of fun and laughter, until the sky broke apart, creating a rift. Where the sky had once been was a portal, and from that portal, something descended. It was "something", because he could not rightly call the being "hume". the figure was armored, with one arm queerly clad in large pieces of metal; the use of which sat unknown in his mind. Until the figure aimed, that is. Objects seemingly made of Light erupted from it, tearing through some of the numerous tents that were laid out in the pavilion, killing the many of the people inside. Ars had taken in the whole situation, feeling, for the first time in the time he had actually existed in the world, anger. Angry enough to kill the cause of his anger. It wasn't anything like the numerous times he'd been annoyed; this was completely different. Bloodlust now flooded his veins, screaming, crying out for release. The power he'd felt coming from that portal, that rift in the sky, could only have originated from The Calamity herself; not that any of the humans here knew or could figure that out. What confused him was that the Harbinger to deliver Her will unto this world wasn't him. It wasn't him standing there, shouting Her judgement and dealing it upon the hume. In fact, he didn't even know who it was that was doing it. It was a being wholly unknown to him. It was unforgivable. "Thirty seconds, huh...?"His voice was a low rumble, brimming with anger. He saw a human arise to the challenge, but his attention was only for the Harbinger. He hoped his rage would be transmitted to the being, because if it could, then a little fear might be in order. Ars walked vigorously towards the being until he was close; flames licked at his left hand, while sparks brimmed in his right. He knew he was still weak, but he could not let something of this magnitude slide. Not now, not ever. What made this whelp believe he could speak with the Calamity's authority?! Flames leapt from his left hand, while lightning erupted from his right, both racing at the armored being. "I'll crush you in FIVE!" Damage Calculations- Fire - 5 Base HP Damage

The Wings Of Freedom Sings
Lightning; it was like life in the sense that it could shine so brightly but disappear so abruptly, but this man had taken on the role of nature and ended so many lives. Miumi had only been spared because someone had tackled him to the ground narrowly avoiding the blast but he would forever have to live with watching that person smile down upon him for a moment as their skin was charred and blackened while they let out the most inhuman scream; one that would forever live within Miumi’s nightmare. He was shocked as their blacked charred body would fall forward but out of instinct he would lunge forward catching it and he would feel their chest; it was hot but there was no longer the rhythmic heart beat, the one that had just been racing when they had saved him. Miumi’s eyes would brim with tears as he looked up at that man with disdain. This man like the fiends of Besaid Isle had taken away the person whom had given him a chance and it finally caused Miumi to snap as suddenly everyone would hear the inhuman scream that resonated from Miumi’s throat as his eyes would narrow those whom were capable of sensing magical energy would suddenly see a surge of it propelling itself out of Miumi like a miasma.
Other’s rose up to challenge him Rayde; an apparently swords man while he scanned a few of the other survivors he noticed that ARS was also present and has risen up to fight. He could hear the sudden crackle of lightning and the roar of the flames in his sensitive ears. Miumi himself began a chant for BLIZZAGA . One would instantly notice that around Miumi moisture was gathering quickly before it would be almost flash frozen turning into droplets of ice that glittered like diamonds around him while slowly those little diamonds and shards of ice would converge at Miumi’s hand in a wild arc that took the shape of a bow it would appear. Miumi firmly planted his feet to the ground as he allowed his hand to close around the crystalized string and would take aim at the creature. Once he was sure he had a decent shot he would pull it backwards and when he did everyone would see ribbions of glittering icy flow forward rapidly while spiraling in a drill like formation they would attempt to collide with the metallic shape-shifting man.
While Miumim himself also took this time to brandish his weapon which always hung at his side in a pouch just gently reaching for it his hands would close down upon collapsed weapon which he would wrench from it’s holder and pressed a button which caused a whirl of the mechanical parts and almost seemed to make it come alive as the shaft swung outwards colliding with a table that had been filled with wares hard enough to scatter them and splinter the wood while the wickedly sharp blade would slice through the air back towards it’s owner coming to rest behind Miumi’s head. It took but a second to do but Miumi’s chanting began again as he would call upon his elemental affinity of ICE to grant him the power for a strengthened blizzard this however wove itself into the form of a small white bear which would hop across the battlefield before blowing a jagged crystalline breathe at the metallic man; despite Miumi’s small stature and weak form it would become quickly apparently that he wasn’t something to be looked down upon.

Kainé stood within the crowd of onlookers as the being in blue descended from the heavens. His ominous entry was instant an tell that he wasn't here for the festivities, and then his smile.. She'd seen many smiles like that before, then chaos would almost always ensue shortly afterward. So when his arm transformed into a sort of cannon and he freely fired at the crowd, Kainé wasn't at all surprised. Miffed, but not surprised.
"Fucking asshole" she muttered angrily under her breath as she dove into a nearby goldfish stall, instinctively out of the line of fire. She landed on the plastic tubs of fish kept behind the wooden counter, crushing them under her body weight. The water they held cascaded out along with the fish, drenching her from head to toe in smelly water.
She remained on ground for a brief moment in shock, her body still braced from her dive. Then a wave of intense anger washed over as she pushed herself back onto her feet and whirled around to face the piss-ant and give him a piece of her mind. But right as she opened her mouth to yell some obscenities, she felt something small and slimy begin to wiggle in her top.
Her face contorted with surprise and then disgust as she reached in and pulled out a goldfish that had found its' way into her top. Eyes narrowing sharply at it, she tossed it onto the ground and jumped over the counter, intending to throttle the newcomer.
Making her way closer, she noticed three others who appeared before the enemy admist the chaos. Well, I suppose I'll join them and payback the bastard. So she made her way over towards the others with a deathly glare, still sopping wet and her clothing clinging to her like a second skin. Once she'd made her way there, she drew her blades and took her stance.
"That outfit is tacky as hell.. Now get ready to fucking die!" She said before she lunged at him. ________________________________

Standing in a group of young, beautiful women, Pyralis tries his best to impress the ladies by using his charm and cheesy one liners. "I'm a fire specialist, so with me ladies its always going to be hot." He says jokingly while smirking. The women giggled innocently at his attempt to flirt with them, mildly succeeding. "Anyone thirsty? How about I get us something to drink, wait here. I'll be right back!" He walks off to a nearby stand setup to serve various food and drinks. He notices standing nearby is a young, scantily clad female with two large swords, and clothing made up of what appears to be bandages. He immediately thinks to himself, Now that is what every woman should wear as battle attire!
Shortly after a huge gust of wind rushes over him. Crowds started to form and whispers erupted all around. He looks up and notices the clouds turn black and red, rushing around as the wind increases. Then a portal of some type rips open in the sky, with some sort of man clad in metal dropping through. He felt chills, there was a ominous aura emanating from this being. This man begins to smile, an evil smile to say in the least, and raises his arm up. It begins to morph into a cannon and immediately fires off into part of the crowd, killing many people.
Pyralis is hit by a state of shock. Growing up in Kilika island there was never murder, much less a massacre all at once. The blue armored man shouts in an extreme demand, issuing a choice of joining him and his master or to refuse and die. Nearby, a few various people rise up in challenge of the fiendish man in blue. Various different types banding together attacking in turns. Pyralis looks around watching them charge one by one..
A vicious looking man yelling, "I'll crush you in FIVE!" attacking with fire and lighting. A younger person who appears to be male using a form of ice magic, and the beautiful woman from before charging with her swords.. Wet outfit and a fish jumping around in her top.. Now is not the time to be thinking about this!
Pyralis glances around once more to look at the damage and devastation that was caused without a thought of the innocent lives taken. Growing more upset with each corpse viewed, he grips his sword. Then he sees the remains of what was left of the three ladies he was flirting with just a few minutes before chaos ensued. Fire begins to rapidly encompass his body and he screams loudly towards the man in blue, "Monster! I'll make you pay!" He beings to dash towards the man in blue..

Copy X weathered the myriad attacks aimed at him without so much as flinching or firing a shot. He gave a quiet laugh and appeared to raise an eyebrow under his helmet. "Are you done? If that's your best then you may as well surrender." The Reploid said, a ball of bright blue light charging at the end of his gun arm. Copy X raised the ball of light to the air and smashed it in to the ground, sending out a massive wave of energy in all directions. In the aftermath, a black vortex of energy emerged behind the blue robot, bits of his armor having been tron off and sparks shooting from his damaged body. He retreated in to the portal as it was closing, seeming to signal the start of the small army's attack.
A troop of blue robots looking almost identical to Copy X save their heads only having a single large red lens as an eye. There were five of them, equipped with various weapons and each one picking a target to fire on, though the small group of enemies was quick to fan out while the rest of the rather small army had begun causing havoc around them...

The Wings Of Freedom Sings
Hope; it was because of people whom were like Miumi, Kaine, Rayde, Pyrlis and Ars , it continued to exist within bleak situations such as this because there were those whom would rise up against the harsh tides of fate and oppose it’s current, but each one had their own reasons which were just as cryptic and mysterious as the owner of said reasons. Miumi’s eyes were glimmer with excitement as he found himself watching after his own barrage of icy crystaline strikes. Arcs of fire danced around majestically within the air before colliding in wild arrays that danced and licked against the metallic coating wisping around the figure which still remained vigilant instead of being reduced to molten metal or cinders. Wild streaks of lightning had also flown forward and Miumi watched as he could witness the true power of the elements. He was more in awe with those whom grew close engaging in combat with sudden movements that were wild and erratic and almost playful while Miumi’s petite figure would grow restless he would move forward preparing for a second strike, but it appeared their adversary had quite different plans as he began to charge up a strike. Miumi’s vision would capture the light orb before all would grow white.
Miumi’s senses were overloaded and suddenly a world of color faded to shades of blinding white and dark black shadows which moved wildly. The loud screech that had emerged also had deafened Miumi temporarily as he found himself clutching his ears just as the shock wave reached him. Miumi would find himself being lifted almost toy and being tossed aside like a rag doll. When he collided with the ground he had hit with enough force to cause a couple indents and groves in the ground and a large variety of cuts and scrapes covered a part of his body that hadn’t been covered byhis cloth armor. Pain erupted when his senses would return the loud ringing in his ears and as his sight came back white was replaced with strings of red which adorned his arms much like ribbons adorned the festivities where this had occurred. He would look down at the gravel and dirt which was lodged within the wounds and slowly his gaze would shift upwards darting around wildly at the vague shadows of the others. It appeared the relentless assault upon him wasn’t quite over as another machine would come forward.
It would throw something towards Miumi but all Miumi saw was a sphere that occasionally emitted a series of lights in the order of red and green which also had an occasional beeping noise to them which as Miumi walked a little closer grew gradually louder; Miumi being of a world of brute force and very seldomly advanced technology had no idea that this little device was a bomb. That was only true until the point where the beeps grew into one consistent high pitched beep before the lights turned completely solid and suddenly emitted a blinding white light; which caused Miumi to bring his arms across his chest and covered his torso and face and at that moment metal shards and a concussive force would bombard his figure. This time when Miumi was flung backwards he shifted his weight in an attempt to avoid more assaults and as he came to connect with the ground his arms would come down as they moved his muscles would piston and fill with blood causing them to pump as well as a few squirts of blood as well as couple tinks as pieces of metal fell to the destroyed ground.
Rage was quite visible as Miumi would activate his own signature ability; one of demonic nature. Suisei Boutoku . Everyone would witness Miumi’s bone suddenly jutting outwards at strangke ankles as muscle would pile upon him and his figure shifted from a human form to a full blown wolf. While that wasn’t the best part as his blackened fur was set with moisture suddenly black ice would form from the moisture ensnaring MIumi. A full demonic black icy wolf would be the end result which gradually would slide forward. IT would burst forward lunch at the beast casting a BLIZZARA spell which was furhter amplified causing a sudden eruption of deadly ice followed bvy a swipe of his paw which caused a scythe of ice to cleave into his foes.

Ars watched in anger as his attacks merely glanced off the being's armor, but his were joined by others, many of which were stronger than his own. The being whethered even those attacks like it was nothing, and then as quickly as he had come, he left, damaging them all with a shockwave of energy. It ripped at Ars and he felt himself stagger at the blow, but stood standing. He was far too weak to fight a being like that. In fact, he was far too weak period. If he had any hope of doing anything period, he would have to regain his former strength. If he only had that... none would stand against him. He would thrash that being like the whelp he was. A moment later, new enemies appeared, launching their own attacks into the group who'd rebelled. He himself was struck by a white beam, and yet again he felt himself weaken. That spell however was normally meant to heal. "How quaint they know..." His raged boiled his blood until he could no longer take it anymore. Pyralis jumped back after landing his attacks. Although he put all effort into his blows, the blue armored being shrugged it off like it was nothing more than a small insect bite. Confused and exhausted from his barrage of attacks, he watched as the fiendish being charged his arm cannon once more.
What now.. Pyralis thought as he braced himself for impact. The ground was attacked, pushing out a tremendous shockwave, spreading out from every direction and damaging everyone who was involved in the attacks. Loosing his footing from the attack, he staggers and falls down. He quickly pulled himself back up on his feet and readied for more, however it seemed the armored man retreated back to wherever he originally came from.
"Is it over now?" He asked as he turned to notice weaker, robotic forms of the man from before. "Spoke to soo-" As he was speaking a wave of ice shot towards him hitting him from the side. Aggravated and injured badly, he looked around at the situation, everyone in the group was attacked individually by clones like the one who shot him.
"Alright, lets end this once and for all!" He shouts as he grips his blade and charges towards the robotic being that attacked him.

Her attacks appeared to do nothing to the overly-tacky dressed enemy. He didn't flinch, budge, or try to dodge her. The action ticked her off, but her anger spiked even more when he laughed quietly; as if her and the others were mere children tossing stones and hitting him with sticks. Then a large amount of energy suddenly began to gather at the end of his cannon arm before he abruptly slammed it into the ground, sending the energy exploding outwards.
"Bastard" Kainé grunted as she was struck by the shock wave of energy that Copy X released and was thrown unceremoniously back into another stand. This is getting old.. really fast, she thought to herself as she rolled over and pushed off chunks of wood and debris that had fallen atop her when she crashed into the stand. Rising to her feet, Kainé quickly glanced over at the other four who'd attacked alongside her, noting that they appeared to be alright. Then returned her attention to the task at hand, only to realize that he was retreating.
"You fucking wuss!" she shouted angrily at the retreating adversary, chucking a shattered wooden beam in his direction out of frustration.
That's it sunshine, let's show them what a true slaughter is like! Tyrann, the shade within her jeered. Kainé grunted in response, the familiar bloodlust of the shade washed over her, kick-starting her adrenaline.
As if on cue, the force that he'd brought to the festival began moving. Her teeth ached terribly from grinding them together in anger at the enemy's retreat, then her attention was captured by a troop of five robots, looking nearly identical to the tacky guy. They fanned out and each picked one of the challengers to attack.
Taking up her stance once more, Kainé gave her new opponent a vicious smile. "You're really going to wish you left with him.." she told him in a low, dangerous tone before charging once again. ________________________________

Black...
The world around him was black. Shifting, swirling about him.
The young lad stepped onto the battlefield, his eyes open, though his pupils were completely dilated. It looked as though he were, perhaps, asleep. The white haired boy held in his right hand a giant sword that, honestly, no human by any right should be able to pick up. No matter what would be yelled at him, he simply stood for a moment, swaying before stepping beside the Copy X before he stepped back into the portal. The boy looked unseeingly over to his 'partner' before turning back to the group before him. He took a guarding position in front of the Copy as he made his retreat, the five other machines standing around him.

Rayde's predictions proved true, more people did come and stand with him though it was more like on the side of good. From what he could see, none of those that appeared seemed to pay any attention to him. Then again, they hardly recognized the others, just all focusing on the man in blue. Before he himself would participate in the battle, he wanted more information of this mysterious man. Who knew the consequences of charging in all willy nilly? He found out though, they all did. As soon as the good mob finished their initial attack, the man in blue unleashed some kind of Pulse Blast that expanded and hit all of them. Rayde had braced himself and was able to remain standing afterwards but he was drained. The others had received similar damage but persevered through it.
"Heh, we may just be able to do this." He muttered to himself.
The armored man then disappeared through a portal, probably needing to recharge. It was planned though, to prevent them from giving chase, more figures appeared, enough for each of them. These beings attacked each of them in turn. Even he got one despite the fact he didn't attack. Maybe they weren't discriminating. His own enemy's attack came as some kind of projectile, one he took like a boss to fuel his own power. His body had a hidden power massing within him but he wouldn't waste it on this pathetic thing. Instead, he trickled some power from it and used it to buff his attacks. Charging in, Rayde drew his sword, Fang, when he got in close, slashing diagonally upwards. His ring increased the power of this first attack but so did that power that coursed through him. Though he wasn't going to let a chance like this escape him. Almost as soon as he swung his sword, he turned it and slashed back down then stepped in, slashing horizontally across the creatures abdomen.

Dodges: 3 unused. ITEMSPower Ring: Just what it says, a ring that grants power. It was originally a memento of his sister with no magical properties but the diamonds laced into the metal band absorbed some of Eroas' power when it banished Rayde from his world. Here in this new world, it boosts Rayde's physical attacks by 10%.

→Inner Power: Within Rayde lies a dormant power that can be awakened when the body is in danger. When released, Rayde's physical and magical attacks gain a power boost as well as his defense. This pushes Rayde's body to the limit and tires him out for a bit after use. Must take a minimum of 50 HP damage before activating.

Becomes fatigued after usage; techniques & magic are locked for 1 post, action limit halved for 3 posts. If used twice in one thread, penalties are doubled. If used a third time in one thread, Rayde will fall unconscious after usage.
