MEMBER GROUPS

Also known as Factions, this is an aggregate list of all of the political stances observed in the Distorted World so far. You can change your alignment at any time by PMing a staff member.

SOLDIER OF LIGHT

The least content of all factions, Soldiers of Light wish to end the existence of the Distorted World and return to their own. Most of them are regarded as "hero-types" that were content with their lives before being brought to the Distorted World. Soldiers of Light are generally determined to restore their worlds if at all possible, and are generally the go-to group for world-saving endeavors.

CULT OF SHINRYU

A partly neutral group that doesn't care much about the new world they live in so much as the being that created it. The Cult of Shinryu is a group similar to the Warriors of Cosmos and Chaos, but consists of those who have pledged themselves to Shinryu's service. Varying from neutral to evil in general, it can be argued that many of the Cult's members only serve the great dragon Shinryu out of a sense of self-preservation.

SURVIVORS

Survivors are a neutral group in the world that are either uncaring or unaware of the conflict of the gods. Whatever the case, these individuals are more concerned with keeping themselves alive and figuring out just what's going on before deciding on who to side with, or simply can't be bothered to care about such matters for whatever reason.

VAULT HUNTER

Those who honestly couldn't care less about the overall conflict of the world and would rather focus on hunting for treasure and fame in the new combined world are called Vault Hunters. Generally, these individuals are either mercenaries or treasure hunters, and in some cases are hunting for large vaults that mysteriously vanished from some of the large cities of the world as they were dragged through dimensions by Shinryu.

AGENTS OF CHAOS

The people who seek to dominate the world, destroy it, or otherwise cause trouble on a large scale are known as Agents of Chaos, harbingers of a remade world. Whether they see themselves as "evil" or have their own visions of a new world in mind, they tend to be social outcasts in all but a few locations. Some of the members of this faction are what others would call extremists, so they may be a faction to watch in the fluctuating world events.
