CHARACTER NAMEPhoenyx Leone/Preston Xavier Burnwright
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONPhoenyx is eighteen years old and is about 5’10” in height. A large scar over the left side of his face defines his appearance. He is slightly muscular though he has a lean build. His eyes are golden in color and his hair is black contrasting with his alabaster skin nicely. His vision and hearing on the left side is impaired by the scar caused by his face being burnt. The left eye always looking like he is squinting constantly. His face is quite expressive, showing anger, pain and concern as well as happiness and seriousness.
He usually wears a lot of red and gold and robes. Depending on his situation and climate, the styling of his robes or tunics change in style. In formal situation he tends to wear high quality, higher class robes that he had snuck away with when he left his family home. He is normally seen wearing quite plain robes or tunics. He also sometimes goes shirtless when practicing with his dao swords or hand-to-hand combat.
CHARACTER PERSONALITYPhoenyx is naturally quiet and reserved. He borders on antisocial and is known to take off in social situations especially if he feels that they could have a link to his past life with his hated stuffy family. He refuses to answer to his birth name of Preston Xavier Burnwright as he feels he is no longer that person any more. He is headstrong and has a fiery temper but he has a good heart even if he is in turmoil over who exactly he is and where he is going in life. He is not one to sit back and watch something bad happen when he could do something to help stop it. He is focused and determined. He may not be the most level headed but he is getting better at handling tough situations.
He is the type of person who would run into a fight against someone if he felt they were doing something that was morally wrong. He has a strange obsession with fire even though he was burned causing the large scar on his face. Though he is quiet, if he feels something needs to be said, he is unafraid to speak his mind. He is stubborn and steadfast in his beliefs especially in his beliefs in human rights. He hates anything considered evil in nature. He doesn’t always know what to say and can get flustered.
CHARACTER HISTORYPreston Xavier Burnwright was born into a rich family eighteen years ago. He was the oldest boy which made him heir to the Burnwright Family fortune. His sister, Rosca was born three years, and was their father’s favourite from the start, while their mother though she loved both her children was closer to Preston. The pressure of being the perfect son was placed on Preston from the start and it was hard for him as he didn’t agree with some of his family’s values. His dislike of the things the Burnwright name stood for grew as he got older and wiser. Things came to a head when Preston was thirteen and his mother who had been the only reason, Preston hadn’t rebelled was murdered mysteriously one night. After that he became more and more actively argumentative against his father who he blamed for his mother’s death. He was only fourteen when his father and the elders of the Burnwright family shunned him and his father in an act of pure spite brutally burned his face.
Preston, having been shunned, left the family home and started travelling the world. Deciding to cut all links to his old family, Preston then changed his name to Phoenyx Leone to become free of the stigma of the Burnwright name. Phoenyx kept to himself mainly, preferring to keep to himself. He got in a few scuffles along the way and learnt both martial arts and the art of the dao swords or the double broadswords which he excelled in. He was seventeen when he came across a scene that made him sick to his stomach. A young teen male attacking a teenage girl, something he would never allow to continue without stepping in. He instinctively went after the younger male, throwing him into a wall with ease. He helped the young woman, using a potion on her before leaving her with only the name Phoenyx to go by.
He continued his journey eventually becoming lost in fog. Arriving in a place he had never even heard of and with his memories from his past a blur, hardly remembering anything before his fifteenth birthday other than how he obtained the scar on his face. He resolved to do his best to help the new world as that seemed to be the only thing he could do.

"Hello there. You've just arrived in the Distorted World. Why don't you tell me your name, and the first thought going through your head right now?""...It’s Phoenix Leone and that’s really all you should know.” [/ size]
"That's certainly interesting... forgive me if I don't know what to say to that. So tell me, where are you from?""I'm from... I have no idea, I can’t remember back that far. My memories are seriously jacked up. "
"Can't say I've ever heard of it. Well, tell me about yourself. What do you do? What are some of your likes and dislikes?""I don’t have a occupation as such unless disgraced son of some rich family is one. I like fighting for sport, playing with fire and helping anyone in danger particularly pretty girls and my mother. I hate my family except my mother; at least I think I do. I also dislike guys who harm women and anything evil by nature."
"Ah, that's amazing! And not only do we have some things in common, you're quite the looker, too, aren't you?""I say thanks for the compliment but I can’t see how anyone can say I'm a looker with this damned scar on my face."
"There's no need to be shy. They always say, if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Anyway, enough about that. Who are you allied with?""I like to help and protect innocent people and dislike the evil and want to disconnect both the distorted world and the calamity from the from the new world, and remove the threat of impending collapse, so would that make me a guardian?"
"I’m sure you have your reasons... Oh, on another note, how tall are you?""I'm 5’10” Ok"
"Drat! Just four inches too tall. Although... hmm, would you mind if I asked you on a date? Don't worry, I'll buy.""I'm too tall? If you’re a chick I wouldn’t mind but I'm unsure."
"Finding a venue might be a bit difficult, anyway, since I have no idea where we are... tell me where this is, again?""*looks around, spotting a random person and asks where they are* I believe this is ... Alexandria"
"Ah, how could I forget? I'd love to vacation here someday, when it's not so foggy... It's scenic, you know?""...Alright, whatever you say."
"Well, thank you for the lovely conversation! I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving you, though, since I'm going to explode in about three seconds anyway. Buh-bye now!""Bye, wait you’re gonna to explode? Is there any way I can stop that."

RP SAMPLEImperia didn't know exactly where she was going, she knew where she was. Wutai, somewhere she had been multiple times in her long life. She was running on instinct alone this time though. She was alone without her clan and without her daughter who had been stolen from her. She was bitter about that and she was ready to find her and the man who had kidnapped her. She was going to destroy the worthless life form once she found him in a painful, slow way. She was planning it already and it was causing her much pleasure at the thought of him suffering as much as he had made her suffer. And it would happen as soon as she found him.
She had been tricked and now she was not as strong as she once was having given up her ability to transform into her dragon form. She was a ninja still though and she would get stronger again. She kept her large pink eyes forward trying not to knock into anyone. She didn’t care for others, having become cold and untrusting towards them many decades before. She was a hundred and fifty years old in an eighteen year olds body, which came down to her heritage as a dragon lady and aging much slower than normal humans. No one would believe her age. But she was okay with that; let them think she was a young kunoichi away from her clan. That really wasn’t that hard to believe.
She felt eyes on her as she slipped through the village. She hated the staring, maybe if her hair wasn’t such an unusual color she would blend in a bit better. She wondered what her hair would look if she dyed it any other color than its natural shade of violet, then shook her head. She would never change her hair, it was part of her heritage. Dragon ladies’ hair was normally the same color if not the same shade as the scales of their dragon form and her scales had been purple, admittedly they had been a much darker shade than the light violet shade of her hair. She also liked purple hence the reason she was dressed in mostly that color. She snuck further into the shadows for a bit to hopefully get away from the staring and to plan her next move. She was frustrated with this not finding Mr Soon-To-Be-Dead and a frustrated Imperia was a dangerous Imperia. Then again Imperia was always dangerous, frustrated or not.
She thought of what she was about to do next very carefully, not about to compromise herself on this mission. She was thankful, she was small only standing at 5’2” at that moment because it allowed her to hide in small spaces while plotted the next move. After awhile she realized that she had no choice than to walk around Wutai and ask the townsfolk if they had seen anyone matching the kidnapper’s description. She hated that plan though, as it meant she had to play nice and that just wasn’t her style at all. She disliked most people and found them irritating. She just had to swallow her pride and get it over with. Stepping out of the shadows, she got to work of asking people but no one seemed to know anything about the where-abouts of the man. She really was hoping to find him soon and this was getting her nowhere. She headed further towards the edges of the town when she stumbled on something lying on the path she was taking. Regaining her balance quickly, she looked down to see what she had tripped on and there lying on the ground was a young man obviously passed out. Deciding against just leaving him lone there, she knelt down and shook him, saying “Hey, it’s time to wake up there, mister.” While trying to make herself look concerned even if she wasn’t.
