Brown eyes opened as her vision was incredibly foggy, making them close again. She opened them again as they cleared, seeing the bright clear skies. The skies she knew and loved. When she lifted herself up, the landscape did not fit the skies. She knew those skies, and yet, her home was different.
She recognized bits and pieces of it, but the large research facilities, the strange looking river type thing connecting to the place, and the fact everything seemed much more...darker...maybe her feel foreign. This was no longer the Gran Pulse she knew and loved. Pain shot through Scara as she let out a silent gasp, she looked at herself.
Parts of her dress were dirty and bloody as she looked at herself more, trying to pinpoint the source of her pain. The battle she had before she laid unconscious flew by her mind in that instant. Her arms and legs had various scratches and her side was torn open, but it wasn't serious nor deep.
She also felt parts of her skin burn, most likely from being hit by the electrical attacks from Sonia. She slowly got up, testing the strength of her legs. They wobbled but was able to hold her light weight as she bent over and retrieved her weapons. she put them away as she looked around.
There was no evidence of fight anywhere, which alarmed her the most. Akira was always such a messy fighter that...speaking of which. "Akira?" Her throat felt patchy and dry, but the fear and concerned was still there. She received no response. She looked around frantically. "Akira!" She called out again, her voice pitching.
No response.
'Vento?' She thought, wondering if everyone was gone. She also received no response. Scara fell into milk panic. Where had everyone gone? Why was she alone? She never was alone...Vento was always watching her and, when her parents and brother were gone, Akira was there...
But now they were both gone. Scara could feel the tears mix with dirt and her own blood caked on her face but she could not stop herself. She was scared, alone, and confused. But something urged her to walk. She needed to get out of this place for it was no longer safe. Her limbs forced her to move as Scara walked, in no particular direction, tears hindering her vision.
---
She walked. She didn't know where she was, but she assumed she only walked for a couple of minutes but her body gave out. Scara felt and heard her body hit the marshland under her. It didn't hurt; the pain of her other wounds made sure of that. They were small and not many, but Scara was unused to pain.
She wanted to continue on, but her body was exhausted again, threatening her consciousness as she shifted in and out of it. She wanted to call for help, but her mouth wouldn't move, instead, looking straight ahead, as if someone would just...materialize in front of her, saving her from her pain.
Even if they had, they would most likely not get rid of the emotional pain she felt.
