Masamune: An undecorated nodachi spanning nearly seven feet in length, this oriental-style longsword is the final masterpiece of a legendary Wutaian blacksmith, forged shortly before his passing. Only the 1st Class SOLDIER known as "Sephiroth" can wield it, and has accompanied the general through hundreds, if not thousands of battles. Despite having cloven through countless weapons, humans, beasts, and machines alike, it shows no signs of wear nor rust. During battle, any physical attacks or abilities executed by Sephiroth, so long as it exceeds '0' damage upon landing, deals full damage to an enemy target, bypassing the effects of passive and active damage-reduction abilities and spells (e.g. Area Barrier, Guard, Protect).
