CHARACTER NAMEEvaine Sycpherion
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONEvaine appears to be in her early twenties with a lanky hourglass figure standing about 5 feet, 11 inches. Her long flowing red-brown hair always seems to get in the way though she never attempts to tie it back. Strands of hair fall around her oval shaped face and serious but calming red eyes. Her red eyes are an odd color and sometimes add to the intensity of her persona. Evaine has light colored, peach skin that seems a bit like porcelain contrasting her other distinctive features such as her vibrant eyes.
Evaine's normal attire consists of a prominent red cloak with gold hem and buttons. Hidden underneath the cloak is a purple, long sleeve, turtle-neck dress that buttons up like a sailor's coat. The dress is adorned similar to the cloak with golden buttons and hem. She wears knee purple socks that are a shade lighter than the dress and black boots that come up just below her knee. Strapped around her waist is a brown utility belt with pouches and a gun holster, she wears matching brown gloves. The most interesting thing which some might find strange is the white and purple stripped scarf wrapped around her neck above her cloak, the ends of it seem a bit tattered and torn upon close inspection.
CHARACTER PERSONALITYEva is most often depicted as serious and a bit cold; though she does care about the normal citizens. She acts sort of as a 'robin hood' doing good for the people who have never really had anything. If someone ever gets to know her, she can be a bit shy but now she rarely ever is. She hides behind her coldness that was brought forward due to tragic events. She fights for what she believes is right and despises parts of the government and those who do others wrong. She herself isn't all 'light' and steals here and there, mostly from the government.. over the years she has become more of a 'pirate' than anything. She keeps herself closed off, though could someone bring out what once was to become of her? To make her happy again?
CHARACTER HISTORYEvaine was born to a middle-class in Bodhum; her mother worked at a small store while her father was part of the security in the town. Eva rarely saw her father for he usually got home late so she was reasonably close to her mother. When she was young she helped her mother around the store that they owned, she'd smile and greet the customers who smiled back and eventually began to know her by name. She was very upbeat as a child, though she did have her shyness. The times she did see her father, she'd be a little wary of him.. but wanted to get to know him. One day she went up to him and asked if he could take her with him to work. He smiled at her for one of the first times, patting her head softly saying it was dangerous. She'd promise she'd be careful; he couldn't resist her adorable face and agreed, things didn't get that serious in Bodhum usually just theft, etc. Eva saw her father in his shiny uniform and announced, "I want to be just like you papa! I want to protect Bodhum too!" he smiled at his daughter, saying she could be whatever she wanted to be. They were a bit closer after that; though sometimes her father didn't come home at night or came home really late at night. Despite her mother Eva stayed up late to wait for her father.
Slowly, Eva began to discard childish things as well as girly things. She began to grow a tom-boyish flare and one time even got into a fight with a boy who was picking on her friend who was also a boy. Her mother spoke with her and said her ladies didn't fight. She said back, "I'm not a lady! I'm going to be a soldier like daddy! To be like daddy I can't wear dresses," Her mother smiled as she shook her head. If she wanted a soldier she would had mothered a son. But, she would never tell her daughter that she couldn't be something.
Eva sort of had a rebellious flare when she was a teenager, cutting her hair when she was fifteen and entered to be in the military. Even though she was 15, she looked a little older. However, they rejected her though not for her being female but because they knew she wasn't old enough. She however, passed the preliminary test. They told her to apply when she was old enough. However, a tragic even happened in her life when she was sixteen... her father was sent away from Palumpolum on a small mission. He was struck down, his body never sent back home. Eva's mother was devastated and went into a sort of depression. Eva did a little investigating but was caught by a man. He knew that man was hiding something and she would despise him. She would join the military just to find out what they were hiding about her father's death. Her mother pleaded for her to not join the military however she did; joining it with her close friend, Maruiel.
To figure out what happened to her father, she would have to work her way up. Maruiel followed alongside her, each challenging each other to succeed further. On the side she did a little investigating, never getting caught though the man, Sir Romiem, kept a close eye on her. So she could not investigate that much. She did her best to visit her mother as often but got caught up. One day while she hadn't visited her mother in awhile, someone robbed their store and shot her mother. Eva blamed herself for not being there.. not being able to protect her. She then found something on scene that indicated that Dir Romiem had something to do with it but she could not prove it. However, she went on with her job though she felt heavy about remaining there...
She became a small pilot, her friend one rank lower than her. She was getting closer to uncovering clues. However, one day on a mission they were shot down and she glimpsed a man that was seen around Sir Romeim. Her friend was in the collision and ended up dying. He gave her his purple and white scarf that had been apart of his attire for awhile. That day Eva vowed to get revenge; for her father, for her mother and for Maruiel, the one closest person she had left.. who she might have settled down with given time. She searched for Romeim for awhile, eventually finding him. They fought, he not fairly however. He had men with him. Eva was losing and after receiving a gunshot to the side it seemed like the end of her...but she managed to shoot him landing the kill. She told the soldiers to let her leave and they would never see her again.. She was left with a large scar on her side; along with the scars and memories of her past. Alone.
She became a pilot for a small companion, always wearing the scarf of her friend. She became cold over the past two years since all those events.

"Hello there. You've just arrived in the Distorted World. Why don't you tell me your name, and the first thought going through your head right now?""Evaine," she said rather straight-forwardly, "How'd I get here?..."
"That's certainly interesting... forgive me if I don't know what to say to that. So tell me, where are you from?""..Stayed in Palumpolum for awhile but originally from Bodum.."
"Can't say I've ever heard of it. Well, tell me about yourself. What do you do? What are some of your likes and dislikes?""I was an Officer... but now I've become more like a gun for hire. Though, I don't particularly like killing people..I do however like guns. "
"Ah, that's amazing! And not only do we have some things in common, you're quite the looker, too, aren't you?""...I've been told I'm quite beautiful,"
"There's no need to be shy. They always say, if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Anyway, enough about that. Who are you allied with?""I suppose..I'm a Hunter of sorts.." (Vault Hunter and somewhat a Soldier of Light but Hunter for now)
"I'm sure you have your reasons... Oh, on another note, how tall are you?""Pretty tall for a woman, a little under 6 feet.."
"Drat! Just four inches too tall. Although... hmm, would you mind if I asked you on a date? Don't worry, I'll buy.""...I suppose if you're buying," (Straight)
"Finding a venue might be a bit difficult, anyway, since I have no idea where we are... tell me where this is, again?""Well seeing as how I just got here...I'm not sure but I think I saw something that said 'Archades',"
"Ah, how could I forget? I'd love to vacation here someday, when it's not so foggy... It's scenic, you know?""..It seems quite the place."
"Well, thank you for the lovely conversation! I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving you, though, since I'm going to explode in about three seconds anyway. Buh-bye now!""..I seem to only meet people once, so its not likely we will meet again,"

RP SAMPLEThe sun was low in the sky, many people were heading home in Palumpolum. A figure stood on the port looking out at the fading sun after having returned from a recent delivery. Her hands moved to take hold of the scarf that was gently blowing in the wind, looking at the fabric of the scarf that was once soft. The ends of the scarf were a tad bit tattered and the white of the scarf was a bit off-white. She brought the fabric of the scarf to her face, rubbing her cheek against it. It was rough, but was a comforting feeling. She heard something behind her and turned around quickly, her hand moving to the pistol at her side though she did not withdraw it from its place. Merely getting ready. Behind her stood a man dressed in black with a vest on. He had a cap on and had a utility belt on. He back away a bit, "Woah, woah missy.." he said, waving his hand in front of him.
Eva relaxed some, dropping her hand from her pistol. "It's not wise to sneak up on a woman like that... Derius," she said as if she knew him. She did indeed know him, from addressing his name. He was another pilot for the company she worked at they'd talked here and there but every time Derius seemed to want to get close Eva would shut him out. "What do you want?" she asked, turning away a bit to look at the hued water.
"Oh, I was just getting some stuff from my vessel and saw you out here.. Mighty fine sunset," he said stepping closer to her, towards the edge of the dock. Eva nodded slightly, not looking at him. "We've been working together for awhile now, haven't we?" he asked, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Don't get any ideas...my answer will probably be no," Eva said without waiting to hear what else he had to say.
"Come on.. just one small date. We could just go as friends if you want, let me treat you to dinner or something," he said, trying to persuade her.
She crossed her arms lightly across her chest,"There must be other woman better than me," she said, still staring out at the horizon.
"You're pretty Eva, any man would ask you out."
"I'm sorry I can't go to dinner..." she said to him, then added something that was the last thing Derius wanted to hear, "I think.. I'll leave here soon,"
"What? Why? Because of me? Don't make it on the account of me.. I don't want to be the source of you leaving. Just forget me ever asking you out." Derius said, looking towards her even though she did not look back at him. He didn't want to scare her away or anything.
"I just don't think I belong anywhere Derius... I feel so distant to this place, the people. No one knows the real me, I hide behind my mask to protect them.. and they don't even know who it is. You don't even know me."
"Eva, that's because you never let anyone in..." he frowned slightly.
"Plus.. Derius, you're just not my type." she'd then walk away, leaving Derius alone. She'd head home and think about leaving Palumpolum that was when everything started to fall apart around her... She'd wake up in an unknown place. Wandering around she found that it was called Archades.
