"R-really?" She thought on it momentarily before inquiring again. "So if I touched it, would it be fluffy?" The question had started to nag at her slowly. It was how she was; she was never satisfied until all her questions were answered clearly and plainly. She stole a glance up at his helmet as they arrived at the bank, helping him sit down on the moss, sitting down beside him on her feet frowning at him.
"Isn't that helmet hot to wear? You don't have to worry about being attacked now, you know." With that she stood up again, walking over to where she'd tossed her clothes earlier, first picking up the skirt and putting it back on, then slipping the shirt on before walking a little towards the forest's edge, looking for dry twigs. "I mean, fiends won't attack you while you're with me, ne. Relax."

He hesitated for a moment, wondering the answer to her question himself. It wasn't like he regularly touched himself..."I-I guess so?" Cloud didn't speak again until she'd brought him back to where he started and set him down. He sighed at having needed help to do even this much, but there was no helping it now. "I'm not wearing it for protection. It's for..." There wasn't really any answer that he could give that wouldn't peak this girl's curiosity further...and he really didn't want to do that, since that would lead her questions towards himself again. The MP sighed again before pulling the helmet off and setting it beside him. The woman had already seen his face, so it hardly mattered if she saw it again. He'd just have to remember to put it back on if someone else came around- that was all. "Why won't the Fiends attack, exactly?"

Hestia frowned at Spikey as if the answer was plain as day. "I'm a half-fiend; so if I approve of your presence here, they'll be nice too." In truth, it wasn't entirely true; there were some fiends that simply were aggressive by nature; it wasn't a thing of opinion, but of instinct. She could deal with those easily enough too though.
She grinned slightly as an after thought, wrapping her tail around her right thigh under her skirt, an ear twitching naturally. "Were the ears and tail any indicator at all?~"

He clenched his fists tightly when she explained. He tried to say something at first, but he was so overwhelmed that he couldn't say anything at first. It took him a few moments to finally build up the strength to ask, but, "...Can you control Fiends?" If she said yes, he'd try to punch her. Futilely, of course, he was still too weak to fight seriously, but the warning before, about her planning on eating him...if she admitted to being able to control the Fiends, then there's a strong case for her having been the one who was really behind the attack...

It took him a few moments to respond with anything as she set up the fire, humming merrily. When he finally did speak, to ask a question of his own, the question made Hestia turn to gaze at him in surprise. For some reason, the way he'd asked that... made her angry? She reached a hand out a flicked his forehead, a bit frustrated. "And if I could?" She frowned at him, challenging him in her own way. If there was one thing that set her off more than anything in the world, it was assumption by association. So she'd challenge him, and she'd make him see.
