When you’re little your parents are their to protect you, tell you that there is nothing under your bed or lurking in your closet. They assure you that the shadows are harmless and nothing more then a dim night light is needed to keep you safe at night. They lied.
Even by telling you that, Werewolves, Vampires, Zombies and Witches are all just clever inventions of the media to make money and you don’t have to worry about them at all, there always seems to be something that lurks in the back of your mind. Is It Real, Does It Exist?
Even under a mask of that which is called proud and confident you go out each and every day without looking over your shoulder and being afraid of some monster coming to end your life.
You continued to live in this bubble however in the deep swamps of New Orleans people are about to have that bubble SHATTERED as the myths and urban legend become real, and you learn to be very afraid of things that go bump in the night.
