[Deep in the Forest...]
"Ahnnn!"
A voice cried out in pain as its owner was sent hurtling to the forest floor. The owner was a woman of peculiar appearance as she herself had a tail and animalistic ears. However, that was all that discerned her from a normal hume at a glance. She couldn't remember why she had come alone to this task; it had been foolish, even of her. She had fought like she remembered she had done so many times before, but the foe had been too strong for her... or maybe she was just far weaker than she used to be. All of that seemed so long ago that it was hard to remember. It was hard to keep her grasp on anything. The woman rose from the forest floor unsteadily, using the object in her hands as support. It was a sword, that she could remember, but now she couldn't even see or remember what it looked like. Panic flushed her mind as she tried to remember it all; why she was here, what she was doing, who she was fighting...
... what was her name?
That was her final thought before collapsing to the forest floor, amidst her forgotten enemy...
[The Forest Edge...]
Many of the children had taken a liking to exploring the forest immediately outside of the village, coming up with all kinds of ways to entertain themselves while the adults went about their work. Only a few children dared enter the forest today though; it contained a foreboding aura, and even those that did go inside to play soon fled it, a panicked fear seizing them. They claimed vicious fiends chased them out, though none could say whether it was true or not. Soon after, the claim was proven true, as half a dozen enraged fiends were spotted just outside the village, though not daring to enter...

The Wings Of Freedom Sings
Awakening; a petite figure was laying in one of the abandoned and partially destroyed houses within the village seeking shelter from the sweltering sun before he would return to his home within the ruins of the once proud Besaid Isle. Faint rays of sun-light would pierce through the roof which had a couple pin-pricked holes in it causing warmth to radiate upon his porcelain skin and it caused his sable locks to shimmer ever so slightly due to the oils that accumulated on it. He looked different from other HUMES but that was because Miumi was something else; something of demonic origin and capable of harnessing staggering power, but the one whom summoned him referred to him as a LUCAVI . His dichromatic eyes would gradually slide crack open and quickly shut once more under the harsh ray of light that seemed to find amusement in burning his retina. His delicately small hands flowed upwards covering his face as he would allow his fingers to spread allowing a few rays of light to flit across his face as he could faintly hear the sound of voices; they were panicked it would appear. He would roll onto his side as if trying to ignore it until he would sniff.
A scent lingered in the air; fiends; ones whom he was familar with his eyes would widen with blood-lust as MIumi would rise upwards resting upon one hand as he saw a couple children running by in the main part of the village spreading the word. A soft yawn would escape between Miumi’s parted lips as he would rise up off the sun-bleached and rotting wood without so much as a sound. A soft breeze would blow through the ruins of a hut causing Miumi’s sable locks to cascade around him and his ears to twitch and pulsate as the soft howl resonated within them; perhaps the planet wished to speak with him a soft chuckle resonated throughout his chest as he would push against the cloth like door of the hut which was flitting within the wind. A few stares were directed his way as he would move forward his foot-steps made no sound that could be detected as he would turn towards the entrance of the village and slowly walked forward. While he did so his hand would gently slid to the holister that rested upon his hips.
Porcelain fingers would slide around cool metal clasping down upon it while Miumi walked forward he would extract what appeared to be a random assortment of metal with some type of blade as he would reach the entrance his hand would press upon a point in the middle and suddenly the blade would unfurl wildly; a slight breeze emitting from around Miumi causing it to kick up the dry and dusty earth that was within the village. It would be dispelled as Miumi ‘s blade unfurled though resting in it’s GLAIVE position. Miumi’s lips would suddenly begin to move rapidly a mere blur to those whom looked at him. Suddenly a cool breeze would sweet through as Miumi called upon the frigid cold of BLIZZARD knowing it corresponded well with Miumi’s ELEMENTAL AFFINITY of ICE , a simple smile as he also activated an ability known as RUNIC FOCUS . A trinity of factors and abilities that made Miumi a dangerous warrior and magick wielder. He would step closer before his spel would manifest itself as a petite bear of snow which stood around two ft tall it would walk through the thresholds of the village before it’s lips puckered.
Suddenly a bararge of glimmering frigid shards of ice flew forward with deadly force; Miumi would apparently spare them no mercy despite their petite size as Miumi walk through the thresholds looking at the havock he had wrecked a smile upon his face but it quickly turned into a frown. He wanted a challenge, but appeared these small fries wouldn’t be able to offer it to Miumi. But whom knew what also lurked in the forest as he cocked his ears backwards listening to the story the children told a soft smile adorned his lips.

Silence. There is a saying of how silence is something to be cherished. Some would find this to be a dreadful thing, however the young man found it to be beautiful. The youth's white hair fell about his face, his hood pulled out about his head as he leaned it back on the trunk of a tree. A foot dangled off the side of the branch he was sitting on, some distance up off the ground. He let out a low whistle from his lips. It may have been weird, but it was his way of enjoying the beauty of the scenery. His lids shot open as he heard something moving under him. He sat perfectly still, his hand gripping the sword resting on his lap all the tighter. He unconsciously held his breath, the sound getting closer. Rustling leaves, the breaking of twigs. It was only a matter of time before the shape of six monsters ran by him to the left. They moved in a pack, picking out a route by which to move quickly.
Thomas let himself relax as they didn't seem to notice him, oblivious to the village they were moving toward. He allowed himself to slide off the branch. The rush of air on his jacket caused it to billow before he landed in a kneel, the impact being easily shaken off by the SOLDIER. His fluorescent blue eyes trailed back in the direction the beasts had gone but a moment before, wondering what they had been in a hurry for. Well, beasts'll be beasts. He gave a small shrug and turned to walk in the opposite direction the beasts had taken, not wanting to get caught up in a senseless fight. He didn't know if they were hostile, but he didn't much care to find out, either. He brought the giant sword up to his shoulder as he took off in a run, putting as much distance between himself and the creatures as he could, hoping they wouldn't pick up his scent all of a sudden and decide to come back.
"Ahnnn!"
He stopped for a moment as he heard the sound of a female voice crying out in pain closeby. His face grew hard. In a dangerous place like this? Who'd be out here? Not wasting any more time on thought, he took off in the direction the voice had come from. [/blockquote]

The dark cloak covered much of the ninja's appearance as she made her way into the forest. She was focused on the task she had been set. Making her way through the trees with relative ease being used to drawing as little attention as possible. The only way anyone could tell there was something was unnatural about this particular female shinobi were her pink overly big eyes. Pretty violet locks were hidden by the hood. She couldn’t fail and she knew she couldn’t let anyone know what she was exactly doing in the forests. She was well versed in the ways of making her way through forests without making a sound.
She was focusing on what she was doing when the sound of a commotion stopped her. The natural curiosity she had repressed since she was a young child had come back in a rush. She felt the urge to investigate and her instincts were also telling her to go that way. So she changed her direction accordingly. She moved quickly and as silently as possible shedding the cloak to free up her movement, she could always find it later or get a new one it wasn’t important to her in the slightest. She set her mind on finding out what caused the commotion then returning to her mission, but prepared herself to help anyway.
She watched everything around her carefully, knowing a mistake or letting her guard down could be fatal. Coming to a stop, watched in silence for a moment, as someone familiar dispatched the six enraged dingoes before jumping out of her hiding effortlessly landing mere feet from whoever he was. She was sure; she had met him before... in Wutai. It then clicked she had stumble across him passed out in the village. What was he doing here and what was the commotion all about? She needed to know. Being the nosy little shinobi she was.
