CHARACTER NAMEKainé
CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONFlawless flesh of ivory complimented with piercing amber hues. Long, beautiful, flowing ivory locks with one side artfully woven into a braid, leaving the opposite down and loose, with fringe falling just above the eyes. A taut and curvacious figure emphasizing the femininity that has been gifted to her, Kainé appears to be the ideal embodiment of a woman that men lust after.
Although however flawless she may appear, Kainé possesses two physical flaws. She was born a hermaphrodite. And as such, she prefers to wear clothing that emphasizes her feminine characteristics. Secondly, she is only half human. Her left arm and left leg, which she keeps under wraps, is that of a Shade.
CHARACTER PERSONALITYKainé is a coarse individual that suffers from being only half human. Her hybrid form has left her to live as an outcast, unwelcome in villages and befriended by few. As such she has grown used to being alone, and her veneer of shyness is easily shattered by her sudden outbursts and irrational displays of violent anger.
Be that as it may, the time she spent as Nier's comrade has mellowed her out quite a bit. Allowing her to become more socially stable.
CHARACTER HISTORY
Born in the Aerie, the only person that showed her kindness and protected her was her equally foul-mouthed grandmother Kali, who Kainé lived her childhood with and inherited her attitude from. She both loved and respected her grandmother who accepted her and treated her as a woman. One day when she had returned home she encountered the shade Hook, who was attacking Kali's house and had her pinned down, sadistically enjoying Kainé's despair. Kali died in the incident and Kainé was left mutilated. It was then that the Shade Tyrann fused with her, allowing her to live and causing Kainé's deep hatred of Shades.
When half of her body was taken over by the Tyrann, she became a Shade-possessed and gained humanly impossible battle power and the ability to hear the voices of the Shades, but despite this, she still had convinced herself that they are all evil and deserved to die. By becoming possessed, Kaine suffered even more persecution and lived only to exact her revenge on the Shade Hook, even if it meant using the powers of a Shade.
Influenced by her meeting with Nier, who lived an upright life even under crappy circumstances, her heart began to change. After exacting her revenge, she took up her sword for the sake of her comrade, Nier.
It was after she had succeeded in aiding her comrade Nier that the world distorted and threw her into an alien world. Her current goal now is to survive and hopefully one day reunite with her beloved comrade. However, she believes that the possibility is slim to none.

"Hello there. You've just arrived in the Distorted World. Why don't you tell me your name, and the first thought going through your head right now?"The ivory haired girl grimaced at the interviewer before responding "My name is Kainé and I want to know how thecensoredI got here."
"That's certainly interesting... forgive me if I don't know what to say to that. So tell me, where are you from?""Well, I come from thecensored-hole called Aerie" [NIER]
"Can't say I've ever heard of it. Well, tell me about yourself. What do you do? What are some of your likes and dislikes?"She ponders something for a few minutes before choosing to answer with a sigh. "Hmm? Well I guess you could say I specialize in melee attacks. But I have dabbled a bit in some magicks. And as for likes and dislikes, I enjoy battling tough opponents and I relish the taste of victory. Um, arguing maybe? As strange as it sounds, I like someone who can out argue me." She taps her index finger on the chair arm in thought, gnawing on her lower lip. "As for things I dislike.. Weaklings. Not weaklings as in those who can't defend themselves. I'm talking about people who whine and weep because they are weak, and constantly rely on others without trying for themselves." Her amber hues roamed around a bit before returning to the interviewer. "And I pretty much hate prying people like you. What good is all this information on me going to do you?"
"Ah, that's amazing! And not only do we have some things in common, you're quite the looker, too, aren't you?"Her facial features become more drawn as her shoulders tense with her irritation, before replying "Censoredoff."
"There's no need to be shy. They always say, if you've got it, flaunt it, right? Anyway, enough about that. Who are you allied with?""Allied? I am aligned with no side." [Irresolute]
"I'm sure you have your reasons... Oh, on another note, how tall are you?"Her brow furrows in agitation, "You know, this is really annoying. But whatever, I'm.. five foot six? Yeah, that should be right."
"Drat! Just four inches too tall. Although... hmm, would you mind if I asked you on a date? Don't worry, I'll buy.""Date? There is no way in hell that I'd go on a date with you" [Heterosexual]
"Finding a venue might be a bit difficult, anyway, since I have no idea where we are... tell me where this is, again?""I believe I heard the locals call it Yaschas Massif.."
"Ah, how could I forget? I'd love to vacation here someday, when it's not so foggy... It's scenic, you know?""It'scensoredscenic I'll give you that" she retorted while crossing her arms over her middle.
"Well, thank you for the lovely conversation! I'm afraid I'll have to be leaving you, though, since I'm going to explode in about three seconds anyway. Buh-bye now!""It's about damn time too" she replies with a rueful smile.

RP SAMPLE"Dammit.. WHERE THE HELL AM I??!!" the ivory haired female snarled into the wide open hillside. Her eyes were narrowed dangerously in a murderous mixture of rage and fear as she paced the area she'd awoken in just moments ago. The sound of her foot falls were unusually audible despite the lushness of the grassy ground beneath her feet.
Her gaze pierced the hills, searching for anything familiar to remind her of Aerie. But that attempt was failed. Everything was just a little too lush. Even the air was more crisp and had an unfamiliar scent to it. As far as her eyes could see, there was just grass; miles and miles of it.
"DAMMIT!" she belted aloud once again, kicking uselessly at a large tuft of grass nearby, only to have her foot get tangled in it. She scowled viciously and grunted, trying to pry herself free of its' grasp, but instead of succeeding, she fell backwards onto her bottom. A slew of obscene curses escaped from her pretty lips as struggled against the plant.
Ha ha! What the hell sunshine?! A familiar yet annoying voice in her head sounded. Of course, she had forgotten about the shade that had been possessing her body for only a mere few seconds. That was rather alarming..
"Shut up you, I don't want... any..censoredlip! HEAR ME?!" she grunted out, finally managing to free herself. A warm feeling washed over her as she felt Tyrann's amusement. The bastard was relishing the annoyance of her current situation.
"Censoredshade.." she muttered angrily. The warm feeling increased. Instead of acknowledging him this time, she bent over and brushed off a few blades of grass that had clung to the wrap around her leg. Grumbled a few more curses about grass stains, she finally stood back up; somewhat recovered. Kainé looked at her surroundings once more, still irritated that she could only see grassy hills.
"Fine. I'll just look for the tallestcensoredhill and go from there."
Ha ha ha ha! the shade laughed merrily. She merely grunted and began walking, what she thought was uphill.
