The goblin Maximus Gorde was making his usual loud clattering as he strode slightly hunched down the street, overly large head bobbing this way and that as the little eyepieces of the goggles roved in and out. He seemed to be completely oblivious to the children mocking him and the adults moving far out of their way to avoid the oddly revolting little creature. He spoke loudly as he walked along, making the oddest conjectures and saying the weirdest of things. It was little surprise, then, that in his state of unawareness he walked in to a woman holding a large bunch of yellow flowers, his long hooked nose poking out the other side. It quivered a bit as he talked.
"Dear me, it seems my nose is filled with plants! What kind, I wonder..." And then, much to the distress of the man who had given the flowers to Rydia, took a large and loud bite from the plants, not pulling his head from them as he chewed, nose wiggling up and down comically. "Yellow, strong stems, taste of blue root, crunchy and sharp... Roses, fresh cut, still alive," the goblin rambled. By this point, the man had recovered from the shock of the little creature taking a large bite out of the flowers and proceeded to hit him squarely on the head.
Somewhat unfortunately for the man, the thing he hit was the goblin's helmet, and while that caused Maximus and most of the flowers to fall straight down, there was also a fairly loud string of swears from the man in response as his hand started to swell. The goblin stood up, apparently oblivious to the fact that he'd been hit in the head or that he'd done anything strange. "AH, a human lady! Greetings, greetings, I am Maximus Gorde!" the little goblin said, beaming and bowing so low that his large, crooked nose touched the cobblestone street. He picked up what remained of the flowers and handed them back. "Quite dry your snack lady, I prefer them moist and not so crunchy. Oh, you know magic, I can tell, other worldly magic! Not good with magic goblins, oh no, elves neither when they lived. We were the talented ones, and the good looking too, but they would never admit it."
The goblin ceased his rambling and peered up at the woman's face curiously, then he seemed to notice the man still glaring at him, though he didn't notice the children doubled over laughing at the hilarity of what had happened. "My, painful hand wound, but not a healer; might have some herbs, not sure if they work on tall folk..." he said, putting his thin, bony fingers to his chin. The man insisted that he didn't need help before stomping off, looking quite perturbed. "Ah, no herbs anyways, better of me not to make unkeeping swears, a terrible luck that brings. Ah, my rudeness! We haven't asked your name magic one, how rude of me! A thousand pardons!" he said, bowing again and folding his hands as if in prayer for a moment at the end, releasing once more and peering up at the much taller human female.

She felt years older than she actually was. It had been mere moments since she had awoken from a simple slumber to find herself inside of some strange land without any bearings. Yet she did carry her Artmeis Bow and had on her traveling robes and armor from her earlier days of traveling with Cecil. Placing a hand on her head she would feel the cool metal of her own crown and yet still felt the thudding of a horrid headache.
Staggering out she would walk along a lakes edge. Slowly around it she would go until she made it to a small cobblestone covered area. There in the distance looked like a castle and yet she did not recognize it so she knew it could not her beloved Baron. Her head had cleared enough by this point that she was no longer holding her head and instead she was scanning the area attempting to see anyone or thing that was familiar to her. That is when she saw a figure that looked familiar. Cloaked all in green with green hair made up just the way she had last seen it Rosa would do a double take.
Inside her mind she was dumbfounded and yet it had to be divine spirits that she would of stumbled upon someone she knew. With a little sense of urgency she would move toward Rydia as she saw a goblin run over and take a large bite of the flowers Rydia had in her hands. Rosa would stop and allow the commotion to die down a little as she would notice the children start walking away from the area along with the flower vendor. Who as he walked past her would hand her a single red rose and give her a smile and bow.
Rosa's face would blush a little and she would place the flower onto her quiver and walk over to Rydia and the goblin. Raising her voice she would speak up.
"She would be named Rydia my good goblin. Master and Queen of the Summoned Lands."
With that said Rosa would walk over to her friend and give her a large smile and put on her best mask. She would speak once again after a few seconds.
"It has been too long Rydia. How have you been?"
