A lone man was crouched in the center of a sandy location, clutching his head with both hands. Looking at him, one wouldn't notice anything wrong or out of line. To him, he was in pain, not physically but mentally and emotionally. Once the man's curiosity was sated, curiosity at this new world, everything he had done prior to coming here came crashing down on him. The man was in pain because everything he had fought for, everything he had done was gone, it no longer existed. The man was alone, grieving the loss of his memories he knew he should have.
Damn Eroas.
Coming to his feet, the man accepted his current memories and would explore this new world in hopes of finding a way home. Maybe, he could also hone his skills so one day, should he return, he can dethrone Eroas and send it and its demons back to Hell where they belong. One day, that may all be possible. For now, the man known as Rayde Valehart would have to figure out where he was and exactly what this place is.
Hmm, a beach. It has been so long...
When the demons had risen, one of the first things that went was water, mainly the ocean. Beaches became scarce as the sand was remade into Blackstone, hellish rock used to make weapons. The last time Rayde had been on a beach was around his sixth birthday, a year before the demonic scourge. That was twenty years ago.
So very long...
Pushing those memories back into the deep confines of his mind, Rayde stepped forth, moving away from the slowly increasing tide and towards the grassy line that separated the beach from the jungle. All he needed to do now was find his sword, it had to come through the rift with him. If it didn't, he would be in some big trouble should he encounter something fierce. Rayde had strength and skill but a weapon was always handy to have.
Especially in this strange new world...

The island of Besaid had become a home to Yeul, the people of the village were nice to her and so far she had not had a single vision of the future. However as much as she liked this place and it's people, she still longed for her own world and the only people she really cared for. It was at times like this that the young Seer found herself walking to jungle paths, Yeul had never seen so many planets for in her time the world was dying and there was nothing but dirt and dead trees.
In the short time Yeul had been on this island she had easily learnt the geographical structure of the island, the forest had now become a much quicker travel route towards the beach. As the sand beach started to come into view, Yeul herself started to slow down there was someone on the beach. Someone she had never seen before, yet there was something about him perhaps it was the way he looked or the way he himself was looking around.
However the Seer had come to one conclusion, this man like her was not a native of this world. Yeul would wait hidden in the darkness of the jungle until the man would get closer, if he did become hostel she knew escaping into the jungle was her best chance. The branches would creek as the young Seer pushed through the last of the forest, the sand would sink beneath her feet and green eyes would look directly at the man. "You and I are the same, we don't belong to this world" her voice was calm yet it lacked the normal happy and bubbly tone one would expect from a fifteen year old girl.
"Yet we are not of the same world, am I wrong?"

Hearing branches creek and twigs snap, Rayde spun to face the newcomer, arms raised and hands held loosely in fists. He expected a hostile local or a monster, not a little girl. Looking over the female, Rayde lowered his arms though his hands still held the form of loose fists, one could never be too careful. The person looked to be a young girl, roughly fifteen or sixteen years of age. She said that they were the same, not being natives of this strange new world but of different worlds. Being told that she didn't belong here was enough for him as he knew the next part easily enough, he was the only human in existence from his world but she didn't know that.
"You are not." He replied simply. "May I ask who you are?" His need to analyze the situation was getting the best of him. He would of introduced himself first but his hunger for knowledge was greater than his courtesy.
Besides getting her name, he had already scanned his surroundings. A jungle, the trees grown close together in some parts and gaps between them in others. It was a rough terrain to fight multiple enemies and would be hard to run away. If this girl had been here longer than he, then she probably knew this forest's layout and could easily escape him. Worst case scenario, she became hostile and he had to fight back. Would be hard without his Fang but he could manage, even with years of training lost with his memories, his body still remembers.

Her green eyes studied the man, she had come to find the people of other worlds interesting. What sort of world had he come from, was time so easily changeable there as her own world was. Yet she would voice none of her questions, first she had to determine if he was safe to be around. "I am Yeul" her voice was some what haunting for someone so young, it gave her an air of mystery and back in her own world people had come to know it as the voice of the seer.
Yeul began to take small steps, not directly towards the unknown man but more so around him. She started to walking around him in a complete circle, studying him from all sides trying to gather what she could. "People always say you can learn a lot about someone just by looking, yet their name isn't one of those things" Yeul wasn't always direct with what she said or how she stated something, yet it was clear what she wanted to know but that never stopped her from asking it a different way.
Once she was standing where she started she stopped and turned back to face him, her long steel blue hair gently swayed in the sea breeze. "There is no desire for violence in my heart".

Yeul? That was a strange name. He wasn't sure on how it should be pronounced. Though she would probably think his name is strange if he told her. They came from different worlds so it wouldn't be surprising. Rayde remained in his casual stance as Yeul circled him, obviously analyzing him as he would her, given the chance. It was true that one could learn much just by looking, names meant nothing but they were always good to know when remembering someone or something. When she had finished her cycle, announcing she had no desire for violence, which was just a fancy way of saying she meant no harm or anything.
"Neither do I." He replied, relaxing his stance and standing straighter. "My name is Rayde, it's a pleasure to meet someone much like myself. I have one question, Yeul, have you seen a sword lying about anywhere? I seem to have lost it when I arrived. It has a distinct lightning bolt shaped emblem hanging off a chain tassel, hard to miss." He said as he looked around. Even though she wasn't going to be hostile, he felt naked without his weapon. Plus it makes him look dashing.
How is her name pronounced? Yee-uhl or like Yool? o.o

Yeul had never developed a fear of dying, for when you are born and taught you will die young because of the powers you posses it causes death to become part of your life. Perhaps the fact she was always reborn played into it, yet no one would ever expect that the young girl didn't fear her own death she simply expected it to come sooner then most. Yet when the other informed her he didn't wish to fight, it set her heart at ease a little for it meant she was safe which no matter what was something to cherish. "Rayde it is a pleasure to meet you also" Yeul wasn't use to meeting new people, the time she came from the only three people alive were her, Noel and Caius there had been no one else which also met in her time she knew every person alive.
When the male mentioned a sword, the young Seer for a brief moment she hadn't seen one in the forest nor had one caught her eye yet. "I have not seen such a weapon, if you have been here a while perhaps someone from the village found it and took it back" she felt like he could be trusted back at the village, he wasn't violent and as far as she could tell he didn't have any psychotic behaviour. Yeul wanted to ask the man about his world, she wanted to know what his people had been like and the villages looked like. Since she had grown up in a dying waste land seeing this world had been breath taking, ever since first seeing it the desire to see more and more worlds had become rather clear. Yeul wanted to see everything and anything, she wanted to come to understand the difference between them all and most of all she wanted to get to know the people of them.

It was true that someone could have found but he didn't think so. He thought about for a few moments, going over everything he could muster within his mind. He felt tired still, like he did in his world before coming here. If he was unconscious upon arriving then his body would of been well rested when he awoke. This information backed him up when he decided that his sword was still out there someplace. Now he just needed to find it. A relatively small weapon compared to the massive size that this island could be. It will take awhile, if he is unlucky.
"That's possible-" He said in response to her statement. "but my body is still burdened by fatigue, so I don't believe I have been here for more than a few hours. It's probably still out there. If you'd like, you can accompany me while I search for it. If not, well, farewell Yeul, is was nice meeting you."
Nodding to her, Rayde casually walked passed her, watching his surroundings with a trained eye. The first being he met wasn't hostile but that didn't mean this whole island isn't. He kept his guard up, arms half raised and hands forming loose fists so he could either open to grab or close to punch. Going with him would probably be in her best interest if she wished to question him. Though she'll have to be prepared for his counters.

Fate was a double sided sword, on one hand it could bring you face to face with something your heart truly desires or it could tear you apart from everything you love. Yeul however was a girl who was born with only one fate, a fate she could never escape no matter how hard she tried although she had long since given up on trying to escape her own fate. Yeul knew she could easily walk away from the man and never see him again, although helping him perked her interest a little. The Seer had always been the one who needed protecting or the help of others, now being the person who could help someone accomplish something they wanted to do was a new feeling for her.
"I shall help you Rayde, there shall be no need for farewells yet" turning on her heels the young girl started to walk away from the forest "After we should return to the village, a weekend warrior is like a blunt sword" for a girl of her age Yeul was rather wise, she may not always make sense but the meaning behind the words could easily be found if the other just looked a little deeper.
Yeul begin her search near the waters edge, glancing out into the blue depths trying to catch a glimpse of steel. She would cast her glance out to the water before crouching down, pale hands would gently push the sand around. She had no idea where the sword could be, it could be under the sand if it landed near the water or it could have been taken out with the tide.
