The elders of Besaid were very relieved when not one but three different adventurers offered to take care of their goblin problem. They expressed a bit of doubt as to how they would repay the kind group, but were grateful for the help in any event. The elders pointed the group towards the forest on the island, where several of the town's protectors had seen the creatures retreating to. Unfortunately, no one had seen exactly where the little beasts went precisely, they merely suggested to 'follow the stench'. After an hour or so of wandering, the group of warriors came upon their targets in a spacious clearing with a crystal clear pool of water. Several seemed to be worshiping the pond for some reason, and there was a curious gleam inside of it. Oddly, the goblins weren't all of one type; though they were all humanoid, some looked very strange, and others hardly looked like goblins at all so much as circles with arms and legs. It seemed that they had yet to notice the small group of fighters lurking in the trees... ----------- ________________________ [Goblins] Number: 6 [hp=40/40][hp=20/20] [hp=20/20] [hp=20/20] [hp=40/40] [hp=40/40]

“Follow the stench.”
That was really all the elders suggested on how to find their goblin problem. Cloud gave a slight sigh, this was great, he was about to embark into the woods with two strangers. Well, he actually kind of knew one of the other people going with him as he met her in Bhujerba. As far as the other guy went, he had no idea who he was and really didn’t care as long as they completed the task assigned to them. It was just goblins after all, this should be cake.
They entered the God-forsaken forest and began to search for their goblin foes. They walked for about an hour before they came up on their enemies in a clearing in the forest. Cloud peeked from behind a log and saw that the goblins were worshiping the pond, which was emitting a strange glow. As far as the goblins themselves went, there were different types. Some didn’t even look like goblins because of how their bodies were made up. The Ex-SOLDIER looked back to his other companions and they also were studying the goblins. Looking back at the group of goblins, who still were unaware of the warriors presence, Cloud had already decided that he was going to make the first move.
“What are we waiting for?” Cloud asked rhetorically, without even looking at his fellow warriors. Just as soon as the words finished rolling off his tongue he bolted out from behind the log and in the direction of the goblins. As he got a little bit closer he raised his hand and aimed at one of the goblins, "Fire!" he said as an orb of fire launched from his hand and flew straight at one of the groups opponents.

Alice knew Cloud was going to take a mission, but how ironic they were going taking the same one. The main reason why Alice did not make a comment to him, or had seemingly any emotion, is with the addition of the other. Her personality essentially shut down entirely.
She was quite grateful for that; lately she's been experiencing actual human emotions that she thought she had killed a year ago. However, it was partly due to the fact she had to fight. Alice was no fighter; she was a civilian that was a wife and mother. She knew nothing of combat...
Then the sorceress came. She gave her the power to fight and, though a curse, one she would use if needed. If this mission was successful, she may get more information out of the locals here. Bhujerba was still a great start; she learned about her target. Now she needed to locate it, well, exactly pinpoint anyways.
Alice walked with the other two, keeping up with them greatly. After that year, she had been wandering around, mostly running anyways, so she was a seasoned traveler. This forest was nothing compared to the climates and enemies she had to face along the way.
Cloud had stopped and, trusting his instincts, Alice slipped behind a tree, peeking out. She could barely see, from the corner of her eye, the goblins they were speaking of. Quite a number of them but...an easy task. She knew her skill, and could obviously see the skills of the other two.
Alice pretty much knew who was taking charge and waited; though not a soldier, she was somewhat trained, as a wife, to know who had the authority. She did, of course, normally. At his words, Alice pinpointed a single goblin that was in her line of sight and drew two feathers from her hair.
It was then Cloud lunged out and at the goblins, which didn't surprise her at all. Luckily for her, she was able to move before he got in the way of her target, the feathers flew from her hand and towards one of the goblins. She wheeled around the tree and pursued Cloud.

Rayde Valehart, a tall man in a long black coat walked within a group of two other people. They all had taken the hunt that required them take down a group of troublesome goblins. Rayde didn't know what a goblin was but their description and notable trait of stinking really bad reminded him of the Imps back in his home world. They were roughly the same thing only Imps were tricksters, of demonic origins and probably much stronger in magic. He would have to analyze these goblins to understand them and compare them to Imps.
So the group had followed the stench and it brought them into the forest and to a clearing where the goblins all huddled around a pond. Something was shining in the pond, it was probably what attracted them. Imps too were slaves to shiny objects, only they loved imbuing theirs with nasty effects. Shaking his head, Rayde focused at the task at hand, his left hand gripping the hilt of his sword which was sheathed on the left side of his waist. There were only six of them, probably only strong enough to take one attack, the next felling them on the spot. Before Rayde had a chance to really analyze them and their habitat, one blonde man in the group spoke before rushing in blindly.
What an idiot.
After the big guy rushed in, the girl attacked with feathery projectiles before she too, rushed in. This would of been his first time to really study the creatures of this world but apparently he wasn't lucky enough to be put into a group that was as smart as him or knew the tactics of battle. Rushing in blindly, no matter how the situation looked, was foolhardy and that was something he wouldn't do. So before he lost the element of surprise, he extended his right arm, hand held in a loose fist with his index and middle finger also extended. Rayde focused his magical power, manifesting it into yellowish energy that sparked around his hand and fingers.
"Thunder." With that said and the releasing of his magic, a bolt of lightning shot from his fingers and arced through the air at one of the unsuspecting goblins that was farther away from the advancing group, increasing the chances that he would be the one to land a hit and possibly kill it.
[hp=100/100] ActionsThunder: 15 HP Damage (Originally 5 but has +10 from same elemental affinity as Rayde.)

The goblins didn't hear Cloud's first sentence, but the instant he shouted his spell's name the nearest ones jumped and turned towards where the sounds. This didn't save them from being hit however; the largest of the ones near the group of fighters took the brunt of Cloud and Alice's attacks, falling on to its back but standing back up quickly, looking very angry. It charged forward at Cloud, swinging its large hands rather viciously and giving a war cry, leading the smaller ones around it to strike out at Alice. The one Rayde struck with Thunder was none amused either, and retaliated by firing a chunk of ice back at him. The other goblins, though alerted, held back rather than attack immediately. They seemed to be planning something... ----------- ________________________ [Goblins] Number: 6 [hp=15/40] [Goblin A] [Goblin Punch, 10 damage: Cloud] [hp=20/20] [Goblin B] [Attack, 5 damage: Alice] [hp=20/20] [Goblin C] [Goblin Bash, 10 damage: Alice] [hp=20/20] [Goblin D] [Standing by] [hp=25/40] [Goblin E] [Blizzard, 5 damage: All] [hp=40/40] [Goblin F] [Standing by]

And it was on.
Now that the goblins had been made aware of their presence, they began to retaliate. One of the goblins swung its hand at Cloud and connected to his face. The blonde haired man stumbled back at bit as he wasn’t even looking in that direction from where he got hit. Turning his view at the attacking goblin, the Ex-SOLDIER smirked, the green monster just made a mistake. He knew this one goblin was already weakened from taking the majority of the damage from the warriors, and he was going to capitalize on it.
Cloud leaped into the air flipping over the goblin who had just attacked him. Landing behind it, he spun around and connected a vicious blow to the goblin. Feeling a small boost in momentum, the blue haired man chained his attacks together and went for another blow to his opponent. After finishing his assault on the goblin, Cloud looked around to see what his fellow teammates were doing and hoped they were handling themselves.

It seemed like she angered some of them, somehow. Alice didn't really have a large sword nor a shield to block with (after all, feathers don't exactly do that kinds of things) however, she made it up with speed. However, it was two against one and she didn't have much time to retaliate.
She jumped to the side, but her leg brushed against the attack of the goblin, causing her to stumble, unable to recover enough to take a direct hit from the other goblin, which sent her slightly airborne. Alice flinched slightly; she wasn't used to combat pain but she recovered and landed on her feet.
Lowering the numbers would be more efficient than weakening targets. For a split second she looked at Cloud as she took out two more feathers. 'He's fine. Deal with yours.' Because of her distraction, she was suddenly hit with a sudden cold as Alice shivered violently, locking on to the goblin whom casted it.
'Get the weaker ones.' Alice told herself as one of her feathers sparked. She targeted the goblin which hit her the hardest and threw her feathers at it. The second feather was suddenly surrounded by an aura which the other sparked intensely as they both flew to the goblin.
Her tattoo pulsed dully. 'No. I don't need it.' She told herself. She didn't want to use it...she used that power to...Alice shook her head slightly, grabbing two more feathers and readied herself for the next goblin wave, keeping an eye on the caster and the other goblin left.

His spell had struck true but it only angered the goblin, his teams' attacks having similar effects on the rest. His goblin reacted b casting a simple AoE ice spell, that is; area of effect. Which means, this ice spell would be effecting Rayde, Alice and Cloud. Rayde took a step back, drawing his sword with his left hand, in an attempt to block the spell. It worked, to some degree and he didn't take as much damage as the spell intended. However, it was enough to fuel his next attack.
Feeling his body filled with the need to get revenge, Rayde immediately dashed forwards, sprinting towards the goblin that cast the ice spell. As he ran, he passed the sword over to his right hand and then spun it a few times for an intimidating effect. Getting within melee range, Rayde jumped into the air, swung his sword up and around, lightning crackling around its edges and then brought it down with a vertical slash to the goblin's skull. This attack was stronger than its stocked form and could kill the poor creature, if the attack was successful.
