While people in Great Britain are running scared or huddling in their homes, gripped with terror by the second coming of the Dark Lord, a sinister tide is rising in America, and it threatens to overwhelm and destroy all that we hold dear.
Cheeseburgers, Thursday-night sitcoms and toilet humor.
Yeah, we know all about the British. They wear powdered wigs, have bad teeth and can barely speak the language THEY invented. He Who Must Not Be Named? Isn't that a character from a Lovecraft story? If there's going to be tentacled monsters stalking Hogwarts, you better hide Cho Chang... You know what happens to asian schoolgirls when there are things with tentacles running around.
We're American witches and wizards. The "purebloods" kicked our blood-traitor and mudblood ancestors out of Europe long ago. We braved America's wild frontiers and carved out a niche for ourselves, and when trouble comes knocking on our doors, we don't hide under our beds like little girls.
